Greater Taung Local Municipality has commenced with the Process to undertake the compilation of its General Valuation Roll of all properties in the municipal area. The implementation of the General Valuation Roll of all properties in the jurisdiction of the Municipality is in compliance with the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act No 6 of 2004 as Amended (Here after referred as the MPRA) which requires that a valuation of all properties is conducted after every five years or as resolved by the Municipal Council.
